As a licensed and bonded contractor, I’ve built this business over the past few years on reliability, clear communication, and consistent results.
A lot of people come to me after frustrating experiences—projects that start late, drag on longer than promised, or are left incomplete or messy. That’s not how I work. I show up when I say I will, keep you informed throughout the process, and make sure the job is done right from start to finish.

We hired Dunn Mtn Excavation to make more parking area around our home, grade our driveway, clean out the ditches, and make more area for lawn. We heard of them by word of mouth, and were very impressed with the results. Our property is located on a slopped area and we needed to install a 16 ft x 32 ft shed. This work required excavation and proper leveling for the shed pad, and for the building of three durable, segmental block retaining walls to handle drainage and soil pressure. We hired Javon of Dunn Mtn Excavation, who was prompt, precise and professional. He was a knowledgable operator, and experienced to handle challenging terrain. For the shed site, Javon used laser leveling and then the base was properly graded and compacted. The retaining walls were built with proper drainage and weep holes. (See attached before and after photos.) Some additional work was required elsewhere on our property, which required cleaning up the road by the well and have topsoil brought in from the lower part of our property. Javon finished each work project in a timely manner and the property was left clean and orderly.

I have worked with a lot of contractors on this project and on others in the past. I find that 9 out of 10 times I am left frustrated, as the contractors usually care only for their small part in the project, generally causing damage (and time/cost) to others involved in the project. This happened with my concrete guy, my landscaper, and my electrician. All of them went sideways. At the end of this project, my wife and I talked about how fantastic Javon with Dunn Mtn. Excavation was to work with. He cared about the details. He took the time and did excellent work. He genuinely cared about the end result and knew how the work would affect subsequent events.
